Jet2 adds more flights on key dates from the UK to Spain, Portugal and more

Jet2.com has expanded its flight offerings from Manchester Airport to Europe on key dates.

The airline has added extra capacity to cater for those going to Champions League and Europa League fixtures, or simply looking to visit Spain, Portugal and more destinations later this year.


Manchester City supporters can take advantage of a new flight to Vienna on September 30, facilitating travel to Bratislava for their match against Slovan Bratislava on October 1.

Liverpool fans benefit from additional flights to and from Barcelona on December 9 and 11, coinciding with their fixture in Girona.

Manchester United followers have more options for their Porto match, with new flights on October 2 and 4.

An extra flight to Prague on December 11 has been added for United’s game against FC Viktoria Plzen on December 12.

A spokesperson for Jet2.com said: “There has been a lot of demand for more flights to and from these big European fixtures, so we have acted quickly to give fans even more choice.

“We know this announcement will be incredibly popular news with followers of all three sides, and we expect the flights to sell incredibly quickly.”

Both Manchester and Birmingham services will be exclusive to Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport has recently reopened to commercial flights and customers can book flight-only options or package holidays.

Package holidays to the Amalfi Coast include VIP customer service, airport transfers and ATOL protection. These come with a 22kg baggage allowance and are available for a £60 per person deposit.

Flight-only bookings offer a 10kg hand luggage allowance with various flight times available. Jet2.com’s Italian network now spans nine airports across all seasons, reflecting the company’s commitment to expanding travel options in the region.

The new Amalfi Coast routes will provide UK travellers with even more choices for exploring Italy’s diverse landscapes and cultural offerings.
